The growing rise in the number of visits is due to several reasons including free place, the richness and diversity of its collections, the opportunity to eat locally and advertising in the media (the world famous) and word-of-mouth.

For our part, we were very impressed by the grandeur of the entrance and the whiteness of the place.

In the section on Eypte, we saw the famous "Rosetta Stone".
This is a fragment of a stele of Egyptian origin. It was discovery by a young officer named Napoleon Pierre François Xavier Bouchard. This stone is well known as it is one of the first discovery stones with hieroglyphs. On this stone, we can observe three types of entries that are hieroglyphics, demotic and Greek. These three texts written in a different way mean the same thing. It is through these three entries that could decipher the hieroglyphs for the first time since we already knew the demotic and Greek. So we could find the meaning of hieroglyphics as the 3 texts spoke of the same.

Setau Here's sarcophagus, it's the cover. Setau holds two amulets that represent power and protection. In his right hand he holds the Djed and the other Tyet.

The Book of the Dead is a collection of spells and incantations found in ancient Egypt. Balance determines the life or death of the soul of the deceased. Indeed, to the left of the scale, the soul is placed in a jar and the right side of the balance the feather of justice sits. If the heart is heavier than the feather, then a monster will devour. On the right you can see Osiris on a seat. He wears the beam and the shepherd's stick.

We also found the process of mummification, which is very impresive. To prepare the dead in "their future life, we removed all the organs in the body with hooks from the nose and a hole in the belly and inserted in pots, they put salt to prevent cells of the body rots.

We were very impressed by the grandeur of the site, provided by the richness of its collections and the world famous it arouses.
